Relay for Life

Did you know that Relay for Life started right here at Puget Sound?  On one of your walks during the day, stop by the outside of Baker Stadium to see a plaque commemorating the first Relay, where in May of 1985, Dr. Gordon Klatt walked by himself for 24 hours around our own track to raise money for the American Cancer Society.  The next year, he held the first event with 19 teams walking for 24 hours and raising money for cancer research, and the event has continued since.  This year, Relay for Life is slated for Friday, April 26th.  Visit Relay For Life for more information about Relay, how to donate, and how to participate!
